What We Do

Not just unique in what we cover, DailyUN is an entirely new approach to news – a new paradigm in journalism.

Beyond a blog and more accessible than a wire service, DailyUN is a fully not-for-profit, non-partisan news room dedicated to a single topic: The United Nations.

On the job every minute of the day, we do what few have attempted – translating the technocratic bureaucracy of the United Nations into something both engaging and informative. All while maintaining core journalistic standards.

At a time when traditional news rooms are scaling back their coverage, DailyUN is scaling up – and we’re doing things differently.

We believe journalists are at their best when reporting for the public good. Profit shouldn’t be in the equation – it isn’t in ours. Our reporters only goal is to make the complex world of international politics accessible to the general public.

Who We Are
